Summer Cohesion is a six-week summer, drop-in, recreational, educational and cultural enrichment program, which provides children, ages 4 through 12, with a safe, structured, and fun summer. This school based program takes place at numerous locations throughout Chemung County. Youth participate in daily activities such as arts and crafts, indoor/outdoor games, attend special performances, and travel to local libraries, parks and museums. Summer Cohesion serves over 800 children each summer.

Activity Fee - 1st Child - $100 Each additional Child - $75
Reduced Activity Fee:
Eligibility for reduced fee is based from total household income and number of people residing in the home.
1st Child $40, Each Additional Child - $30
A keycode allows families to register youth online for Summer Cohesion at a reduced fee with a credit or debit card.

1. If your child receives SNAP, Medicaid, HEAP contact the Youth Bureau at 737-2907. You may be eligible for a reduce fee.

Childcare available before and after Summer Cohesion -
